Kriging is a geo-statistical procedure in which we estimate the value of a parameter at any unsampled location after analyzing the values of the same parameter at surrounding sampled locations. The estimated value depends on the observed values and the spatial arrangement of the sampled locations.

In CoKriging we estimate the value of a parameter (primary variable) at unsampled location depending on its values at sampled locations considering its relationship with another parameter (secondary variable) also measured in the surrounding locations.  The primary variable is under sampled i.e. its number of observations is less than the number of observations of the secondary or auxiliary variable. The two variables may or may not be collocated.

This will be used with well related estimations in Groundwater Module of WRIS.
